Kate Moss's on her flaws and new Topshop Line

Kate Moss Topshop

Topshop has announced that after a four year hiatus, they're collaborating once again with topshop fan Kate Moss. According to Kate:
"It's seven years since the first collection so I've grown up a lot and I learnt a lot the first time round," says Moss in the video. "This collection is a bit more sophisticated. Everything in the collection is something I would definitely wear. I can't wait to get my hands on it."

In a recent statement she made, she also was self-depracating,which makes me like her even more. She states, pointing out her oft-maligned 'bow legs': "No rules, apart from heels, and I never do mid-calf. I've got bow legs. I can't."  We also know that she famously has a "lazy eye" which makes her one of my top supermodels. I don't know about you guys, but I prefer a beautiful woman with flaws than someone who looks like a mannequin.

Another way to look chic and comfortable without having to wear ugly sneakers/tennis shoes

Bensimon shoes

If you're like me and you absolutely detest having to wear boring, ugly sneakers or tennis shoes, and ESPECIALLY if your style of clothing is vintage so that does not go with your style, and if you want to look cute but comfortable, look no more because I found quite the few options for all of us. I personally didn't wear sneakers or tennis shoes because I thought cute ones didn't exist till now. Recently I bought three pairs of the cutest replacements for tennis shoes, and I feel that they can go with any outfit, even with skirts. So here are my picks for shoes that are comfortable and cute and can definitely replace ugly tennis shoes.

Here are my absolute faves:

And here are those and all the rest of my picks (also, for those who are in a budget like me, don't worry, I've included some that are cute for a low price):

Fashion Gone Hysterical

I must say Moschino's Fall 2014 Collection was quite hysterical and interesting to look at. Hysterical because the designer of this collection, Jeremy Scott, the connoisseur of junk culture in the fashion world, has created a style hybrid consisting of Ronald McDonald meets Coco Chanel, Budweiser and Frito-Lay, right down to sort of Spongebob couture clothing that either makes you laugh....or stare in awe. If Ronald McDonald, the creator of Spongebob, and the CEO's of candy and potato chip companies were in the audience, they'd be proud.

Here are some of the more interesting looks of the show:

Google Friend Connect Problems: How to solve the problem and add blogs

Has anyone noticed lately that you can't really add blogs anymore via Google Friend Connect and your readers and future readers can't add you as well?. Also, if you keep getting that bloody annoying error message "We're sorry... We were unable to handle your request. Please try again or return a bit later."

Well, after almost breaking the computer several times trying to figure out a way to add people and feeling annoyed at the fact that people can't add me, after serious research online, I finally found a way to solve that problem. Sure, it's not as easy as just clicking on the little "follow" button, but this is the next best thing especially if you're intent on gaining new followers or you're just starting out or all over again. The latter can be worrisome especially if you're like me and trying to pave your way in the fashion blogging world. So, I'm here to help us out! Just follow the steps below and see if it works for you:

Step 1: Log in to your blog and view your dashboard. Towards the right side of the page, next to where it says the language (English (United States), you'll see that little star/wheel thing. Click on it. This will edit your followers.

Step 2: Once the page loads, scroll all the way to the bottom. Click on "add".

Step 3: Type in the URL (or copy and paste) of the blog you are wanting to follow. So, if you want to follow me, for example, you can simply type in "www.christinanoire.com". Once you do that, click on "next".

Step 4: Click on "follow" and then voila! You are officially following that blog.

Also, here's another shortcut:
Instead of clicking and scrolling all the way down, you can also click ADD under "Reading List" on the left side of your home screen, it takes you to the same place! :-D

Spread the information around and don't forget to follow me!

Zooey Deschanel's New Fashion Line Collaboration

(Photos via WWD )

Ok, first off, I soooo love Zooey Deschanel. I have always loved her vintage inspired style as well as her acting. So when I heard that she was coming out with a fashion line, I freaked out-----except when it just turned out to be a collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger :-/. I'm kind of disappointed because I thought it was going to be an actual fashion line, and plus I don't really like Tommy Hilfiger's clothing (it's not really my style and I'm sooooo tired of the nautical colours, it gets boring and old, sorry). The collection, named "To Tommy, From Zooey," will feature 16 dresses that will be surely as cute as the dress Zooey is wearing above. In a price range of $98 to $199, 14 out of the 16 designs will be available at 200 Macy's stores on April 14th. I'm still looking forward to it though, I absolutely adore the dresses Zooey herself wears. I'm sure they'll be as cute and girly as she is.

PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARDS 2014 BEST & WORST DRESSED

2014 People’s Choice Awards: Highlights & Full List of Winners

To be honest, I didn’t watch the People’s Choice Awards, because frankly there were a lot of people I didn’t care to see like…basically any pop star except Britney Spears (because I like Britney) and Robert Downey Jr. From what I’ve heard and read, Robert was the highlight of the show, winning awards for Iron Man 3 and Best Action Star. Hosted by “2 Broke Girls” Stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs (who’s show I don’t watch), the 2014 People’s Choice Awards ended by honoring excellence in TV, film and music as chosen by the fans. The 40th edition of the annual event was attended by Hollywood’s A-list stars, including Robert Downey Jr. (my fave star), Jessica Alba, Sandra Bullock and Justin Timberlake.
Ellen DeGeneres won her 14th People’s Choice Awards for Favorite Daytime TV Host beating other nominees such as Dr. Phil McGraw, Rachey Ray, Steve Harvey and Kelly Ripa and Michael Strahan. DeGeneres’ seat buddy Justin Timberlake took home three awards, including Favorite Album for Justin’s “The 20/20 Experience” album, Favorite Male Artist and Favorite R&B Artist.
“Gravity” Star Sandra Bullock  took home the Favorite Movie Actress Award and Favorite Comedic Movie Actress, beating Gwyneth Paltrow, Jennifer Aniston, Melissa McCarthy and Scarlet Johansson in the first category.
“Vampire Diaries” real life ex-couple Nina Dobrev and Iam Somerhalder won the Best Onscreen Chemistry award. Which again, I didn’t care for. What I DID care for were the fashions.
What do you guys think?
